Silo Pharma, Inc. (OTCQB: SILO), a development-stage biopharmaceutical business focused on the medicinal application of psychedelics, said that it has generated its first batch of Liposomes for use in a preclinical study conducted by Frontage Laboratories, a CRO (contract research organization). The SPU-21's capacity to target inflammatory epithelial cells suggests they could be employed to target medicine delivery. Silos' novel joint homing peptides could be used to treat autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Despite systemic administration of the medicine, this strategy could improve the therapeutic impact of current and future therapies while reducing potential harm. In addition, SPU-21 has the potential to be used in the development of arthritic pathogenesis fusion imaging molecules and/or nanoparticles.
