ProBioGen's renowned cell-based production platform for industrial processes has massive benefits: The AGE1.CR.pIX is a genuine suspension cell line that develops in chemically specified media without any adventitious agents. This enables growth in huge bioreactors with shorter lead periods, resulting in a more controlled closed-loop production process.
Dr. Gabriele Schneider, Chief Business Officer at ProBioGen, commented: "Cell-based systems for vaccine production offer a cost-effective, efficient and flexible alternative to traditional vaccine production, e. g. on chicken eggs. With the AGE1.CR.pIX, we have created an exceptionally robust and scalable system, which is becoming increasingly important, and we are pleased about the increased demand."
ProBioGen specializes in the research and development of complicated therapeutic proteins.
Biologics with optimum qualities are produced by combining advanced protein and viral platforms, depending on ProBioGen's CHO.RiGHT and AGE1.CR expression and production platforms, accordingly, with intelligent product-specific technologies.
