Exagen Inc. announces that the stockholders have approved the election of Mr. Frank Stokes as an additional independent member to its Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting.
FREMONT, CA: Exagen Inc., a prominent provider of autoimmune testing solutions, is delighted to announce that at its Annual Meeting on June 17, 2021, the company's stockholders supported the election of Mr. Frank Stokes as an additional independent member to its Board of Directors. Mr. Stokes will also serve as the Audit Committee's Chairperson.

Since December 2017, Mr. Stokes has been the Chief Financial Officer of Castle Biosciences, Inc., a skin cancer diagnostics organization. Mr. Stokes was the Chief Financial Officer of Hammock Pharmaceuticals from January to December 2017, a specialty pharmaceutical business based on the development and commercialization of women's health and urology medicines. Mr. Stokes was a Managing Director of Leerink Swann from May 2011 to December 2016. He has also worked at Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated and Wachovia Securities, LLC as a Managing Director. In addition, Mr. Stokes headed life sciences, tools, and diagnostics sector investment banking activities and managed financings and mergers and acquisitions deals at SVB Leerink and Robert W. Baird & Co. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence.
