Eterna appoints Matt Angel as CEO and President after serving as the interim CEO.

The biopharmaceutical company Eterna Therapeutics reveals the appointment of Matt Angel, Ph.D., as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President. Angel will now continue to serve as a board of directors member after his position as interim CEO.
An experienced biotechnology entrepreneur and executive, he has raised over USD 150 million through grants, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, including intellectual property protection and licensing, contract negotiation, and collaboration and licensing agreements. Dr. Angel is one of the leaders in mRNA technology, with more than 100 patents relating to mRNA delivery, nucleic acid delivery, gene editing, and cell reprogramming. Besides his role at Eterna, Dr. Angel is also the co-founder and president of Factor Bioscience and the co-founder and chair of Exacis Biotherapies' Scientific Advisory Board.
