In 2021, Chime Biologics Innovation Center was established in Shanghai Zhangjiang Science City to expand its cell line development and early stage project development services. The facility covers an area of over 1500 square meters, becoming one of the leading international biopharmaceutical R&D centers that complements Chime Biologics’ Wuhan manufacturing premises to maintain its successful experience in multi-country clinical trial applications and new drug launches. The Innovation Center currently provides services like cell line development, early-stage drug candidate preparation, drug developability studies as well as process development, with the initial capacity to undertake more than 20 biologics projects per year.
